Connection. Inclusivity. Collaboration. Kindness.
Bee Kind Counselling began by working with individuals, couples and families throughout their healing journey. To provide them with skills and techniques to cope with everyday challenges. While this work is very important, there was an something missing.. Community.
The Hive's purpose is to create a safe, inclusive and welcoming space for all walks of life. Community is an integral part to any healing journey, and with recent events there has been a great lack in sense of belonging and collaborating.
We are on a mission to bring our community together, welcoming all races, ethnicities, genders, sexualities, etc. by providing Mental Health resources, raising awareness for marginalized communities, and collaborating with community organizations.
Please Bee Kind to yourself and others, you are NOT alone..
You're in The Hive!
With community at the base of this development, we rely heavily on your input, participation, and feedback. Our goal is to ensure all voices have been heard openly from various life backgrounds aligning with our mission to include all walks of life.
To begin, I have created The Hive Shop; a place to access various mental health resources and products to promote kindness while raising awareness for many injustices.
Moving forward, we plan to hold community gathering space to connect with one another, host events to learn more about specific issues, as well as events for community fun.
We plan to integrate various community organizations and citizens interested in making a difference and promoting kindness. The possibilities are endless for these collaborations and we are interested in feedback from the community.
The end goal of The Hive along with Bee Kind Counselling, is to open a full Wellness Centre where people will be able to access services, wind-down from their day-to-day duties, and come together to connect, all while feeling safe, connected, and welcome.

About The Creator...
Hello! My name is Bre, I am the Founder of Bee Kind Counselling as well as our newest shop, The Hive! The Hive is a place designed for individuals to take control of their own healing journey, that being said, this is NOT a replacement of professional services. Throughout my time working in the Mental Health Community, I have recognized many gaps in receiving services within the community (Lack of services, long waiting periods, lack of information surrounding Mental Health, etc).
Though we are slowing making great changes, I wanted to offer something to people looking for further self-help, things to try while waiting to see a Therapist or to bring with them in their therapy sessions, thus.. the creation of The Hive.
I am a creative at heart. Art in many formats has always been one of my biggest passions as well as a way for me to cope within my own life. What a great way to mix my passion for art with my passion of supporting others through their own healing journey!
As a Registered Social Worker/Psychotherapist, I primarily find myself working with individuals who struggle with ADHD, lowered self-esteem, anxiety, as well as those within the LGBTQ+ community.
You may be wondering, why do you primarily work within those communities? I'm glad you asked! I am a strong believer in mixing professional education in therapeutic services along with personal lived experience within the communities I support. By now, I am sure you've guessed.. I am a Queer, Neurodivergent Badass! Haha, all jokes aside, I may not know EXACTLY what it is you are going through, but I am here to provide you with some tools that I have personally found helpful, my clients have enjoyed and to give you some guidance on this corn maze of discovering what works best for you!
I always preface with everyone I speak to, this may not be for you... and that's ok! We are all unique individuals and function in a variety of ways. However, how will we get to know what works best for us if we do not try? The various planners, worksheets, tools and more that will be offered through The Hive are designed in a way to support you every step of the way while remaining a more affordable option due to being in digital format with multiple uses by printing as many times as needed. Take a deep breath, you deserve this and I am excited to be a part of your own personal journey.
Friendly reminder to Bee Kind to Yourself, you're not alone.. You're in The Hive!
